Why do I need the JaRPC toolkit? If you are writing Java applications that interaface to existing middleware or systems that have deplyed RPC's, you will probably need JaRPC from NC Labs. With the increased deployment of Java Beans and Enterprise Java Beans, existing applications need to be integrated into the Java language, and thats where JaRPC from NC Labs comes into its own.

Its the only toolkit which conforms to the ONC/RPC standard and the NobleNet extended RPC interface widely deployed in Enterprise applications.

You will need NC Labs JaRPC toolkit if:

  • You are interfacing a Java Server or Client to an existing ONC/RPC application.

  • If you are interfacing Java to the NobleNet extended RPC standard.

  • Whenever you need to preserve the existing interface to an application or deployed system. Especially important to defend against Y2K problems.

  • Whenever you need to write Java XDR streams interfaces.

  • The JaRPC class libraries compliment RMI and provide a simple way to write client/server applications.
