We strongly recommend that you view the content of the archives before extracting its contents to determine if you wish to proceed with the installation.

JaRPC Runtime Libraries

Extract the files from the supplied archive (.tar or .ZIP depending on platform into the appropriate directory for your Java Class files. You will need to add the path JaRPC to your CLASSPATH to enable the JaRPC classes to be accessed by your Java envoronment.

JRPCGEN Development System

Extraction is similar to that of the JaRPC Runtime Libraries except that you will generate an additional directory called jrpcgen containing the classes for jrpcgen and the examples directory. You should include this directory into your CLASSPATH.

JaRPC Examples

The example files are contained in a directory called examples which is contained in the archive examples (either .zip or .tar depending on your platform). Simply unpack this archive into an appropriate directory.

The documentation files are contained in a directory called documenation which is contained in the archive documentation (either .zip or .tar depending on your platform). Simply unpack this archive into an appropriate directory.
